I see HerStory not just mentioned, but recognized as part of a larger movement of young people redefining feminism as a pathway to peace. When I said “can’t really think of a story in history where there’s no her in it,” I meant that women have always shaped the world, even when history failed to credit them.
For us, feminism is not about division — it is about equality, dignity, and shared power.
The article affirms what we believe:
societies rooted in hierarchy and exclusion create violence, while inclusion creates stability. If young people organize, vote, research wage gaps, and even write poetry together, we are not simply expressing opinions — we are practicing democracy. Peace is not abstract. It is built through everyday acts of partnership, and our generation is ready to carry that responsibility forward.
